Hey friend! So glad you’re here! I’m Amy, Founder + Creative Designer at Ever Co! I love coffee, all college sports (+the Chiefs), camping, animals, plants, holiday decor, fashion, bible journaling, reading, my two girls (+ our 2 pups) and my handsome hubby! I was born and raised in Kentucky, but moved to Jersey at 18 to pursue a career in sports broadcasting. Instead, I transferred to Auburn University, where I graduated with a degree in Mathematics and a commission into the Army as a helicopter pilot. Blake and I met on a blind date in flight school, where we trained to fly the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior. Most days you’ll find me dreaming about the future of this company, writing, tutoring, volunteering, browsing the aisles of Target with starbys in hand, or going on long walks / runs / bike rides around the Potomac. I’m deeply passionate about cultural awareness, suicide prevention, and mental health awareness, and I pray you can see those messages shine all throughout The Ever Co. Thanks for being here. :)

Welcome! I'm the other half of the founding team of The Ever Co.  I handle all things finances and logistics and enjoy staying behind the scenes. I lead photography and filmography for the business and have always had a passion for photography and being behind the camera; although Amy makes me get in front quite a bit, ha! I love cycling, woodworking, real estate, mountaineering, our beagles, my little ladies and my big one. Born and raised in Washington State, I initially enlisted in the Army at the age of 18. After a few years I was accepted into the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY where I graduated with a degree in Engineering. Like Amy, I chose the branch of Aviation and became an Army Kiowa helicopter pilot.  But now, I fly airplanes around D.C. Most days you can find me cycling, in the garage working on a new house project, on my honey do list, or outside working on the yard with my ladies.

Hi there! I’m Rachel and Head of Distribution here at Ever Co. I work closely with Amy on design, and I also hand letter all of your duty station pins, custom art, and lots more! I spent the last 5 years as a small business and Etsy shop owner, and before that spent several years in the fashion industry working alongside designers. Amy and I met in college, as sweet friends + sorority sisters, so to have our paths cross once again is amazing! I love Gilmore Girls, Christmas, hand sewing, lettering, dogs, exploring outdoors, coffee, and spending time with my friends and family. I’m wife to my handsome husband Brenton, who is in the Navy Reserves! As a military spouse, it’s incredible to work with a Veteran/Active Duty owned business. We have a little girl, Leah June, who is our world, and we are soon welcoming a sweet baby boy! These days you can find me soaking up all of Leah’s cuddles as we await her little brother, taking strolls around our neighborhood, and trying new recipes.

Blake and Amy love the outdoors.  Their love for the outdoors grew enormously when they were stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington, also known as The EVERgreen State.  Always hiking, always exploring and always eager to set off on a new adventure, they quickly realized their love for evergreen trees of the majestic pacific northwest.

An evergreen is a plant that has leaves throughout the year, always green. Blake and Amy love the correlation between the leaves of an evergreen and a family withstanding storms and seasons, yet remaining still and standing tall forEVER.

Jeremiah 31:3.
“I have loved you with an EVERlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

Amy uses her online platform @amylouhawthorne on Instagram to share the brokenness of her past to lead others to the Cross.  Her message: though He knows the depths of our hearts, He still loves us the same. Blake and Amy hope that through The Ever Co, they can teach others about God’s everlasting, forgiving and saving love.

Blake and Amy are passionate about selfless service and generous giving. They have hopes and dreams to give back to the military community who’ve given them so much. They want to honor the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for this nation and it’s freedom, while also embracing and uplifting the family and friends who were left behind.
Through The Ever Co, they launch Mission 31 which will raise $310 for chosen families suffering the loss of a child, battling with a child in the hospital or trying to raise money to grow their families through adoption.  Mission 31 has already donated over $50,000 to families over the last five years. Their hope is for each $310 donated, chosen families will continue their journey to creating a family that can live out The Ever Co mission.

Amy turned 31 on December 31st when the website went live.  It was her Golden birthday.
Everly turned 3 and Hadley turned 1 that same December.
Their life verse is Jeremiah 31:3.
The Ever Co storefront will (prayerfully) open in 2031.
