my mom once dreamed of owning a flower shop when she came to America, and she was the one who introduced me to a love for all things blooming. as i started creating these bouquets, i realized so many pieces of them naturally connected back to my Korean heritage. the folded bouquet wraps were inspired by traditional Korean paper fans (buchae), and even more special…the wrapping paper itself is actually made in Korea. these everlasting bouquets are inspired by Korean flower markets, handmade gift shops, and the kind of beauty meant to be kept forever.
i wanted them to feel joyful. collectible. colorful. nostalgic. holiday-inspired. like tiny pieces of art people could display in their homes or gift to someone they love.
